Eye Of Odin

Eye of Odin has entered this year’s CFOX Vancouver Seeds competition! There is a chance that we could win tour dates, recording time and a bunch of new gear and even airplay on CFOX out of the deal! Voting begins May 21st and ends June 8th. We really need your help on this one!

Hail Vikings!

We recently played a show at the Rickshaw in Vancouver; we brought a photographer along who took some great shots. While we were on stage, we enjoyed sharing the stage with up and coming belly-dancer, Foroogh Mahafsoun, for two of our songs! Here is a recording of one of them.

Just a quick note to let everyone know a couple of things.

First off, over the next little while we’re going to be tweaking eyeofodin.ca to integrate fully with social networking sites. Changes are mostly complete, but over the next little while you might notice some visual changes; namely in the form of buttons– so many buttons! Buttons to share on major social networks. You will also notice a top-banner with buttons to like us on Facebook, or follow us on Twitter.com, and a link to purchase our debut album, Winterborn, in CD hardcopy or digital download formats.

If you are a fan of Eye of Odin and you use social networking sites, please help us get the word out!  Like our page on Facebook.com, subscribe to our Youtube.com channel and follow us on Twitter.com; You will now find buttons strewn about the page to do all of these things directly from eyeofodin.ca. Also, make sure you own a copy of our debut album, Winterborn, available from our online store! Every little bit helps!

Eye of Odin would like to officially welcome their new members, Aaron “Giezer” Giesbrecht and Kayle Hammel to the fold!

The band has been busy in the band room jamming material with the new members; this Autumn Eye of Odin will be playing shows on Vancouver Island and in Vancouver.

On Vancouver Island, come on out to the Cambie in Nanaimo Saturday Oct 29th. Eye of Odin will be headlining alongside old friends The Whiteboard Project at The Return of Sacrifest. Tickets are $7 at the door. The show begins at 9:30pm. COME IN COSTUME!

In Vancouver, come out to the Rickshaw and see Eye of Odin play with Celestial Ruin and Scythia at Nerdfest. It’s the band’s first time playing this venue, so be sure to come on out and show them that Vikings know how to have a party! Tickets are $15 and are available online for pre-order now. The fun begins at 6pm. COME IN COSTUME!
